Otter and water vole surveys

As an experienced otter and water vole surveyor, Malcolm Ginns of Solway Ecology is licensed by Scottish Natural Heritage to survey otters in Scotland, a requirement when a more intrusive survey is needed, which could result in the disturbance of otters. 

We have extensive experience of mitigation for riparian mammals and riverine birds including translocation of water voles, habitat creation, provision of artificial otter holts and artificial sand martin colonies.
